For whatever reason, many organizations line up their compliance engagements according to the calendar year. Perhaps it’s because it aligns with their fiscal year, or it’s just what they’re used to doing. Starting your compliance calendar on January 1 also means ending it during the holiday season.

Every year.

So, when everyone else in your organization is winding down towards a year-end break, your compliance personnel are ramping up for the busiest, most chaotic time of the year. It’s during this time when they’re working ungodly hours of overtime, missing holiday celebrations, and squeezing in time with family between work demands. When kids are out of school and spouses have time off, your compliance team is spending more time at work than ever.

For these people, the holidays aren’t a time of joy and peace, but a time of frustration, panic, and exhaustion.

Peace to Compliance Teams, Goodwill Towards Assessments

Our hope at TCT is for professionals in the security and compliance industry — that everyone find joy, peace, and rest this holiday season. It’s the reason TCT exists, to bring peace and sanity throughout the whole year — and especially during the holidays.

One of the many ways TCT Portal makes this happen is through Operational Mode. With Operational Mode, it becomes easy to spread all of your annual activities and responsibilities evenly throughout the year — and to do it with the assurance that none of the hundreds of tasks falls through the cracks.

For those who feel like they’re up to their eyeballs in alligators this time of year, TCT can help you find more sanity so you don’t have to go through an epic annual scramble in the last month of the year. Let’s talk about how your holiday season in 2026 can feel like peace on earth and goodwill toward mankind (yes, even to the person that decided to culminate your annual compliance cycle during the holidays).

Appreciation for the Important People in Our Lives

This time of year is also an opportunity for being appreciative of what you have and sharing that joy with others. That’s something that we strive for at TCT — to make life more sane and making the holidays more enjoyable for others.

I remain incredibly appreciative of the great clients we have, including the wonderful interactions we enjoy with them and the tremendous collaborations we’re privileged to be a part of.

In addition, the personnel at TCT have done a fantastic job yet again throughout this year. I’m looking forward with great hope and anticipation towards the next year. We have some ambitious plans to make compliance management more enjoyable (if I can use that word!) in 2026. I can’t wait to share more about them with our customers in the new year.

The driving force behind TCT from the very start has always been to serve others so that their compliance experiences could be as free from frustration and trouble as possible. Ask anyone at TCT what our purpose is, and you will hear it: to make life easier for others. Every single thing we do is aimed at achieving that end.

Happy Holidays to You and Your Family

So as we come to the end of 2025, it’s with my whole heart that I wish you and your family a happy holiday, with much joy, and more downtime to enjoy it.

From all of us at TCT, Happy Holidays to you and yours.
