If you’re going to the PCI SSC 2026 Europe Community Meeting, you’re about to experience one of the most important events in compliance management. The annual conference is being held 20-22 October in Edinburgh, Scotland — and TCT will be there.
Edinburgh is such an historic city. It’s one of the things I love most about the European conferences we go to. There’s a richness that you can feel as soon as you step off the plane that you don’t get in the United States. We’ve just celebrated our 250th anniversary as a nation, but Scotland’s history extends at least to the ninth century. Just being around that kind of history will be truly exhilarating.
The PCI Community Meeting is three days of connecting, discovery, updates from the Council, regional community speakers, merchants, industry experts, and more. It’s a must-attend event for anyone involved with the PCI DSS — whether you’re a QSA, a compliant organization, or a vendor to compliant organizations.
This year, expect plenty of discussion around AI across the conference sessions.

What to Expect at the 2026 PCI Conference
The PCI conference is always a great opportunity to see old friends, make new friends, and learn about what’s going on in the industry. It’s one of the highlights of my year, because I love talking with people on the Council and with contacts at card brands. And we always enjoy talking with folks at our booth in the Vendor Showcase.
Often, TCT customers will grab people they know and bring them by the booth to introduce us, insisting we can help solve their massive compliance problems. It’s a very cool environment to be in, and the number of friends we make at the PCI conference seems to grow every year. Reconnecting with acquaintances, and helping people navigate their world of compliance is what it’s all about.
Every year, we meet organisations at the PCI conference that are dying to get off their spreadsheets, but they feel trapped by homegrown systems or third-party vendors that they can’t stand. We invite people like that to come to our booth and chat, because invariably we’re able to provide the assistance they’ve been yearning for.
TCT Unveils Powerful AI Tools
This year is especially notable, because TCT is introducing powerful new AI tools for compliance management. We took great care to listen to our customers, get their feedback, and build out the AI functionality they want most with the secure approach they have been seeking. We’re excited to unveil TCT Portal’s AI tools to our customers in person at the PCI Community Meeting this year.
One of our core tenets is that we have a very strong sense of our responsibility for protecting client data and information. To that end, we were committed to developing an AI system that would outpace other AI tools and live up to the highest security standards.
As a part of that commitment, TCT’s AI tools will be strictly opt-in, because many organisations don’t want their information exposed to AI in any way, shape, or form. We will never force customers to adopt an AI system they aren’t ready to use yet.
In my opinion, one of the greatest risks of exposing sensitive data to AI is the prevalence of sketchy policies about data use, access, and storage. Most vendors keep it in a black box with little to no detail about what happens to your data, or are outsourcing the AI functions to various third parties. TCT is committed to an open and transparent approach to the integration of AI, and we welcome open dialogue with our customers and prospects.
Check Out the Tech Talks
While you’re at the PCI Community Meeting, be sure to attend the Tech Talks. Tech Talks provide a fantastic opportunity to discover some incredible solutions that will make your compliance life much easier. These are 20-minute sessions that include Q&A, live technology demonstrations, and insightful thought leadership on trending issues related to PCI.
Only a handful of organisations are selected by the PCI Council to present a tech demo, and TCT has been selected to present a talk titled, “Level up your PCI compliance with intelligent automation.” We will be covering TCT’s advancements in both automated and artificial intelligence continuous integration into the TCT Portal.
Let’s Meet and Mingle!
The sessions and Tech Talks are all great, but if it comes down to it, spend the time in conversations and make the most of every interaction.
Several members on the TCT team will be on hand at the booth in the Vendor Showcase, and we’d be happy to chat about anything on your mind — whether it’s discussing compliance challenges you’re facing, platform features that you’re looking for, or stories from the front lines.
While you’re at the booth, be sure to register for our cocktail events. TCT is co-hosting a cocktail evening with LHC on Wednesday, at Monboddo Restaurant & Bar (Located Inside the DoubleTree Hotel).
Come over, hang out with the TCT crew, our partners and have a couple of cocktails. You’ll enjoy a very cool, friendly group of folks—and a great atmosphere to regroup, rekindle friendships, make new friends, and network.
See You at the PCI Community Meeting
TCT is excited to continue our mission of making compliance management suck less for folks. It’s hugely rewarding to have opportunities to talk to people at these conferences — whether it’s existing clients, long-time partners, or people who have just started their PCI DSS journey.
